Agromechatronics
Problem
Due to unconscious pesticide application in agricultural lands where crop production activities are carried out in Turkey, the physical and chemical structure of the soil is gradually deteriorating, underground water resources are polluted and the ecosystem is negatively affected. In addition, it is known that plants produced for food purposes pose a risk to human health due to excessive pesticide application. In addition, since every pesticide application has a cost, unnecessary pesticide application seems economically negative. The pesticide application on agricultural lands where crop production activities are carried out is important for both today and future generations. Treatment of pests or diseases in the plant or soil as needed; It will cause positive effects in terms of economic, ecological and human health.
Çözüm
It determines the stage of the disease with the images it takes by wandering around the field and applies drug treatment according to the development period of the disease, pest and plant. It sprays according to need using solar energy in the field with autonomous or remote control. It makes predictions about disease and plant health based on the data we collect. With our hoeing module, the tractor eliminates fuel and labor costs by screening the soil before planting. By hoeing between rows after planting, weeds can be combated without pesticides or labor costs. It reduces fertilizer costs by offering variable rate fertilization with the fertilization module. It eliminates labor and diesel costs with seedling planting and seed planting modules. When we look at it from a sustainability perspective, tractors produce serious carbon emissions. Our robot works with solar energy. It is always on the side of farmers and nature.
