Detailed observation of hive conditions and bee colony health is crucial to addressing this alarming situation. To mitigate issues, beekeepers must closely monitor hive conditions and colony health. Early detection of diseases or pests enables proactive measures, reducing the need for chemical interventions like drugs, pesticides, or antibiotics, which contribute to bee fatalities and residues in bee products. Current methods sometimes necessitate burning hives, exacerbating problems. While some local market systems can alert beekeepers based on specific in-hive thresholds, the 94 million hives worldwide present challenges like delayed disease detection, unconscious use of chemicals, trade in diseased bees, and difficulties in maintaining optimal hive conditions consistently. This strain on bees leads to increased deaths, hives being burned to curb infectious diseases, elevated workload and costs, promotion of medicated bee products, and potential negative impacts on human health. Efforts aim to enhance traditional beekeepers' performance and efficiency by leveraging experience to optimize bee life and employing gamification techniques in user interfaces to encourage beekeeping activities. Our product aims to establish robust bee health monitoring systems, optimize beekeeping practices and maintenance, and advance industrial beekeeping with professional beekeepers.
