Migros Up 6th Call Period

Migros Up has launched the 6th call for applications for its program, which brings together employees and entrepreneurs to collaborate on joint innovation projects and supports the growth of local startups. Migros Up focuses on startups that can provide solutions in areas like e-commerce, physical store operations, human resources, and supply chain management. It offers startups opportunities to test their business models within Migros, meet with experienced mentors in the retail sector, gain experience in Agile Project Management, access resources for product development, and benefit from marketing support, investment opportunities, and startup support packages.

So far, Migros has collaborated on innovation projects with 15 startups, becoming a customer and investor in some cases. Notable partnerships have been formed with startups like Hergele Mobility, Servissoft, and Bugamed, with products developed through these collaborations reaching commercialization stages.

Current projects include initiatives such as drying fresh fruits and vegetables using waste heat energy with Amanos, developing an AI-powered skin analysis and recommendation tool with PulpoAR, and creating a solution with Bomensoft that detects suspicious activities in stores in real-time using advanced image processing and AI models.
