Pianeta Accelerator

Pianeta Accelerator is an acceleration program powered by Factory Plus, in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo, Regione Lombardia, Principia, and UC Berkeley SkyDeck. It aims to connect European startups with Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem.

Who can apply

• Software startups with a functional MVP
• Hardware startups with a working prototype and a defined roadmap for mass production

What you get

• Up to €200,000 equity investment per startup
• A 6-month acceleration program
• 3 months powered by UC Berkeley SkyDeck, with a minimum of 3 weeks in residence at Berkeley, California
• 3 months within the MIND-Milano Innovation District ecosystem for PoC development
• Access to international investors, partners, and top corporates

Timeline

• SEPT-OCT 2026: Call for Startups and selection of 12 participating startups
• NOV '26 - JAN '27: International Acceleration at UC Berkeley SkyDeck, California
• FEB-APR 2027: POC and corporate networking at MIND-Milano Innovation District
• Q4 2027: Demo Day with investors, corporates, and stakeholders
