As we all know, one of the most fundamental problems of the deterioration of the ecological balance and the acceleration of global warming on Earth is petroleum-derived plastics. Petroleum-derived plastics need to be reduced both because they do not disappear in nature for many years and the amount of water and carbon footprint released in the production processes is very high. Petroleum-based plastics are harmful to human health and the environment. It disappears in 750 years in nature, causes 6 kg of carbon dioxide to be released per 1 kg of plastic and emits a carcinogenic substance called Bisphenol-A. On the other hand, plant-derived biopolymers have low strength properties, most of them are food-based and their costs are very high. Therefore, it cannot be used in all areas. As a solution to all these problems, we produce plastic raw materials that are much more cost-effective and have high strength properties than a waste that has no usage area and is produced in very high amounts. Biolive is a biotechnology company that produces and sells antimicrobial and antioxidant bioplastic granules from olive seeds; also designs and develops the technical production process. Every year in our country, 500000 tons of olive seed waste is generated in the world and 6 million tons of olive seed waste is produced in the world. These wastes come out in the olive oil production process and are a problem for producers. The only area of use is the burying and burning of these wastes. Biolive granules are recyclable, have higher product characteristics than their competitors, and are more cost-effective than existing bioplastics because they are produced by evaluating waste. Our product is the transformation of olive pomace (olive seed waste) into bioplastic raw material, which is the first in the world and is produced in very high amounts.

Biolive produces bioplastic granules by evaluating olive seed wastes that are 500 thousand tons every year in Turkey. Biolive granules are recyclable, have higher product characteristics than their competitors, and are more cost effective than existing bioplastics because they are produced by evaluating vegetable waste. It is also a product that is in high demand in Turkey and abroad outside for an invention that is the first in the world. Biolive products can be used in food packaging and food containers, electrical electronics industry, thermos cups, automotive industry, organic toys and other baby products, textile, vegetable leather production and many other fields such as medical visor.Is produced entirely from unused vegetable waste. all production processes are covered by green production technology. We have a USDA certificate approved by the US Department of Agriculture. We have DOIN CERTİCO certificate in European standards. It is much more cost-effective than its competitors, its efficiency is very high, energy burning is low, our carbon footprint per kg is 0.32 kg per kg. Petrolium-based plastics and bioplastics are our competitor but there is no company that produces bioplastic made of olive seeds.Our products draw the attention of customers and investors worldwide, because it sets itself apart from regular bioplastics. Our bioplastics are 100% organic, vegan and compostable product because they are recycled from natural olive-waste. Also, our ability to produce these plastics from already existing waste makes us more cost-effective. We will be able to offer more competitive prices than regular bioplastic producers in the future. Our bioplastics bear 140 celcius however existing bioplastics bear only 80 celcius.The biggest difference between petroleum-based plastics is that we dissolve in the environment and do not cause any harm to human health. Our product is as natural as the food you can eat. In addition, it does not cause energy and oil loss as it is obtained from biomass.
