Problem

There is a lack of information, qualification, and skill in the local film-making and media industries, leaving those interested in these fields without access due to language, location or financial barriers. There is additionally a very wide cultural and economic gap between the Turkish, Arab, and European communities within Turkey that prevents collaboration and partnerships which could positively impact growth and development both of society and this sector.

Solution

Gate of Sun is creating an online multi-lingual platform in addition to in-house training courses for those who are interested in film making and media. The online platform, functioning much like a social media account, gives learners their own portfolio, allows them to interact and ask or answer questions as well as grants access to a variety of informational sources such as articles, step-by-step automated training for production, and more.
