RotaLytix is an explainable condition-based screening platform for auxiliary pumps, motors and fans that lack continuous monitoring. It combines vibration features, order tracking, envelope analysis and asset-specific anomaly detection to generate evidence-backed NORMAL, WATCH or INVESTIGATE advisories. The TRL 3 software prototype has passed 61 automated tests; the next milestone is hardware integration and real-machine PoC validation.

Problem

Many auxiliary pumps, motors and fans are not covered by continuous high-end condition monitoring. Manual inspection routes provide periodic snapshots, while maintenance teams must prioritise numerous assets with limited diagnostic context. Early bearing-fault evidence can therefore be missed or reviewed too late.

Solution

RotaLytix screens vibration windows and operating context using RMS, kurtosis, crest factor, order tracking, envelope analysis, bearing-frequency matching and asset-specific anomaly detection. It returns NORMAL, WATCH or INVESTIGATE advisories with supporting evidence for maintenance review.
