MikroBiyo’s tagCTC tackles this challenge with its unique 3-stage cascade microfluidic approach that performs two consecutive filtering followed by electrical cell counting: (1) hydrodynamic enrichment via size/deformability-based differences; (2) immunoaffinity-based cell capture by antibody-based immobilization; and (3) electronic enumeration based on impedance spectroscopy (IS) technique, in a single lab-on-a-chip platform.
